Home Security Stories from People Exactly Like You
Posted on January 27th, 2012 | by admin |I have been talking with lots of homeowners about their home security. I am working to get some insight on the different ways that our homes become at risk. I asked each person I spoke with if they had ever experienced any suspicious actions on their property. It could have been burglary, broken windows, a suspicious individual – whatever. Almost every single person had at least one story to tell. Many of their stories led them to buy a security system. I have been told that Home Security in Delray Beach is a choice that people people have gone with.
One person said that he was home for the afternoon one day, but then left to pick his little boy up from basketball practice. When he and his son returned roughly ten minutes later, one of his windows was broken and several things were missing from inside. He seemed to think he was being watched, and that the robber knew when he left. Another mother of 3 said that she once answered the door to a man who said they were a salesman. After the man finished speaking, he asked if he could talk it over with her inside. She said no thank you, and he again replied by asking if he could at least come inside to use her telephone. Considering he was being persistent, she declined again and shut the door in his face.
All of us have had encounters with suspicious situations and people. Some are worse than others, like that of the first man. The information I am digging for helps me figure out what motivates people to buy a security system. The second woman said she quickly decided to get one the very next day.
I have heard many similar stories from other people. People never truly know what can happen on a certain day. I am sure these two people did not wake up and think something abnormal would happen later that day. It really stresses the value in always being proactive.
